The cabin and fenced yard at dusk Ask about your dates
Why should I book direct instead of on Airbnb?

Booking direct means no third-party service fee, and you talk to your host from the first message. It's the same cabin, the same care and the same 4.93-star experience our Airbnb guests have reviewed 162 times.

How far are we from Yosemite?

About 20 minutes to the South Entrance on Highway 41. Mariposa Grove is just inside the gate, Wawona is about 35 minutes away, and Yosemite Valley is roughly an hour and a half. Check nps.gov/yose for current entry requirements before your trip.

How many people does the cabin sleep?

Up to 6 guests:

  • Primary bedroom: queen bed plus crib
  • Kids' room: twin-over-twin bunk bed
  • Family room: low queen sleeper sofa (extra bedding is in the trunk)
Is the cabin set up for kids?

Yes, we designed it for young parents with children under 15. For the littlest ones there are cribs, a high chair, a baby bath, a changing station with diaper pail, baby gates, outlet covers, corner guards and toys for every age. Older kids love the Pac-Man table, foosball, board games, the reading nook and the life-size games on the deck. The front steps have a child-friendly handrail with a baby gate at the top, and the whole deck is fenced.

Can I bring my dog?

Absolutely, one dog per stay. A few house notes keep the cabin happy for the next family:

  • Pups stay with you in the fenced areas.
  • Please use the potty area by the hot tub and pick up after your dog (bags provided).
  • Use the black dog towels in the bathroom.
  • Dogs are welcome on the furniture with the blankets provided.
What are check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is 4:00 pm and check-out is 10:00 am, with self check-in by smart lock.

  • Check-in at 3:00 pm is free when the calendar allows.
  • Early check-in from 1:00–3:00 pm: $150, when available.
  • Late check-out until 11:00 am: $115, when available.
  • Holidays add $50 to early or late requests.
Tell me about the hot tub.

It seats four and sits off the side deck in its own fenced area, under string lights with a propane fire table nearby.

Where do we park?

Two cars fit on the driveway, and there's free street parking. The detached garage is used for storage.

Is there anything I should know about the property?

A few small things:

  • The kids' room wall is open at the top, so sound carries a little. White-noise machines are in both bedrooms.
  • Please enjoy the house and fenced areas, and stay off the hillside behind the property.
  • There are exterior security cameras on the property. None are inside.
Can you help us plan a celebration?

We'd love to. We work with local vendors on anniversary, wedding, proposal and birthday setups, arranged before you arrive. Mention it in your booking request.

When is the best time to visit?

Every season has its own magic. Spring brings roaring waterfalls, summer is for Bass Lake, fall is quiet and golden, and winter means snow play at Badger Pass. In mid-to-late February, the Horsetail Fall "Firefall" draws visitors from around the world, so book early.
